今回は僅か約半年のスパンにてギリシャのPANTELIS ASPRIDISがDJ 19の19BOX(JUKEBOX) RECORDINGSへ再登壇。ドラマティックでディープでテッキーでヒプノティックといった要素を融合し、ジャンルを横断するサウンドは健在。タイトルが示す通りクールな「Antarctica」は、アンダーグラウンドな雰囲気を漂わせながらクラブ受け抜群の仕上がりとなっている。そして、援軍は19BOX RECORDINGSにリミキサーとして2度目の登場となるアルゼンチンはコルドバ出身のAXEL ZAMBRANO。エナジー・レヴェルを一段階引き上げることで、より攻撃性を増したリミックスにて異なる可能性を示してくれた。

1996年にスタートしたアムステルダム・ダンス・イヴェント（通称ADE）は、アメリカはマイアミで開催されるウィンター・ミュージック・カンファレンス（通称WMC）と双璧をなす、オランダはアムステルダムで行われるダンス・ミュージックの祭典。ADEにフォーカスした19BOX(JUKEBOX) RECORDINGSのコンピレーション第2弾『Amsterdam Sampler 2023』は、19BOX RECORDINGSとPARK LIMITED MUZIKのここ1年のリリース、中でもテッキーなサウンドに焦点を当てた全15曲をコンパイルし、レーベルの動静を探る上でもマストな作品に。

On the flip side (if digital releases had them), Dan Sonic from Switzerland creates an irresistible deep and moody remix and gives it Twilo's greatest days treatment. I RECORDSなどでリリースを続けるメキシコのSERGE GEEが、前作「Push It」から約5ヶ月のスパンにてDJ 19の19BOX(JUKEBOX) RECORDINGSへ帰還。得意のジャッキン・ハウス仕立てとなる「Chopin」は、フィルターにて高揚感を上げつつも、ディープな雰囲気を纏い、幅広いジャンルに訴求するトラックに仕上がっている。また、リミキサーにはスイスのベテラン、DAN SONICを起用。ブラスなどを追加しつつも、エフェクティヴだったヴォイスをワードとして効果的に使用し、かつてNYにあった伝説的クラブ＝TWILOに於いてかかっていたかのような錯覚をを起こす処置を施してくれた。新たな扉を開くをリワークを含めて必聴。
