'Dueling Weapons Vol.20' features 80s cover tracks taken from "80s & 90s Investigation" compilation. On remix duties, we have two heavyweights delivering their unique interpretations. First up to the plate is Ambrozia AKA DJ 19 & Edison Watanabe's 'West End Girls', a cover version of Pet Shop Boys. Elgone steps up on remix duties and expresses old school sensibilities with his trademark deep and melodic sounds.

Next is Genuine Fakes AKA Sota S. ' 'Planet Rock'', a cover version of Afrika Bambaataa & The Soulsonic Force. Dan Sonic transforms the original into a stylish, groove-laden masterpiece with afro and techy textures. 'Dueling Weapons Vol.20' is the ultimate platform for discovering 80s, featuring updated remixes which are guaranteed to ignite dancefloors.

DJing, production, and designing all fall into his lap with ease. He is most well- known as an organizer of TORTURE GARDEN JAPAN - which is one of the world's most famous international fetish parties. 

Sota S. delivers fully with filthy groove, which is a homage to his rave roots. And he prepared Tech House Mix that is thumping wallop of a track due to it's hard house flavour. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

It's been 10 years since we've released "80s Investigation" compilation. The self-proclaimed king of 1980s music in Japan is DJ 19. He has a keen ear for that particular decade in music and it helps explain why he's released many 1980s cover tunes under the DJ 19, Ambrozia, Valid Evidence and Hot Station guises over the years. As a result of his love for all things breakdancing, new wave, parachute pants, big hair, electro, synth pop and other 1980s-based culture, he has decided to release a compilation that focuses on 80s & 90s cover tunes that's aptly titled "80s & 90s Investigation". The album's chillout grooves include mostly projects he has been involved with. 

Most of the tracks have already seen a release, but there's also 2 new exclusive tunes here. The first one has been done by Ambrozia aka DJ 19 & Edison Watanabe. They have covered Pet Shop Boys 'West End Girls'. Edison played Shinobue, which is a traditional transverse Japanese bamboo flute.

The second track is by Genuine Fakes aka Sota S.. He has covered Afrika Bambaataa & The Soulsonic Force 'Planet Rock'. "80s & 90s Investigation" is the ultimate soundtrack to any discerning clubber's winter holiday.

2014年リリースの『80s Investigation』は、80年代のカヴァー曲を収録したコンピレーションとして、traxsourceだけでなく、今は亡きHARD TO FIND RECORDS(HDFR)やwasabeatなどでも大ヒットを記録。今回、約10年の時を経て、新たに90年代のカヴァーも収録した『80s & 90s Investigation』のリリースを決定。19BOX RECORDINGSの総帥であるDJ 19は、AMBROZIA、VALID EVIDENCE、HOT STATIONといった名義を使用し、多くのカヴァー・ヒットを生み出してきたが、今回もその中から代表的な作品を収録。新たにAMBROZIAとして、PET SHOP BOYSの「West End Girls」をEDISON WATANABEによる篠笛を大々的にフィーチュアして再現。また、GENUINE FAKESによるAFRIKA BAMBAATAA & THE SOULSONIC FORCEの「Planet Rock」も初収録。

To celebrate its 25th anniversary, DJ 19's 19BOX(JUKEBOX) RECORDINGS presents a series of unreleased remixes. 'Dueling Weapons Vol.19' features DJ 19 Vs Thomas Penton's 'Ima'. Originally released in 2004, the talented production duo provided a monumental example of energetic progressive house, graced with the dynamic vocal talent of Japan's Ta (ex-Maji Na Damu). The seminal track was gained huge popularity after receiving heavy play from Above & Beyond,  Hernan Cattaneo, DJ Chus, among others, and got remaining a record box essential for two decades.

To celebrate 20 years since its original release, 19BOX RECORDINGS have called upon Yuriy From Russia to update the track. The Russian born producer really does not need any introduction. For the rework, he delivers a compelling interpretation of 'Ima', and creates a deliciously rich and full-flavoured sound with familiar stabs, infectious vocals and deep elements.

The second rework comes from label debutant Kinos. The Japanese producer follows up on excellent releases on PARK LIMITED MUZIK. He delivers a superb rework for some peak time madness as tech house style.

DJ 19's enduring Japan imprint has long drawn on its label history since 1999. As the title indicates, the compilation will see DJ 19 taking stock of where the label has been and where it is. 

Stacked full of seminal tunes from the likes of DJ 19, Elgone, Pad One, Dan Sonic, Axel Zambrano, Allan Zax and more, "Progressive Classics Phase 9" contains 12 classics and turns any moment into a trip down memory lane.

Welcome to the next chapter of our 'Dueling Weapons' series, which will focus on bringing unreleased remixes to the world. On the 18th installment, we welcome cool remixers such as Serge Gee and Sergio Vilas. 

First up to the plate is Elgone's 'All Right' taken from his 2nd album "Okinawa". Serge Gee, who hails from Mexico steps up on remix duties and expresses old school sensibilities with his trademark Jackin House sounds.

The other is from an artist familiar to PARK LIMITED MUZIK fans. Kinos' 'True Heart' has had a proper remix treatment by Sergio Vilas, who was already appeared on 19BOX(JUKEBOX) RECORDINGS as a remixer of Serge Gee's 'Listen To Me'. His version adds proggy elements on it without original vocals and injects more dancefloor elements to make it more of a club driven remix.

We're happy to welcome France's Elgone who's back on the label to deliver full length long player "Okinawa". As you know, he delivered chillout concept album "A Moment Of Reflections" on 19BOX(JUKEBOX) RECORDINGS in 2021, and techno style album "Data Flux" under Synthetic Phoenix guise on PARK LIMITED MUZIK in 20023. Elgone has worked on the album for over a year to come up with sensual, emotional and superbly written array of songs, and stays true to his roots and delivers a masterpiece with 11 original tracks including 'On And On' and 'In Deep', which have already been taken from the album as a single.

Perhaps rebelling against the ever-increasing and frantic pace of the modern world, he provide a languid, blunted, Balearic and Okinawa, where is the name for the biggest island in the Ryukyu Islands, far south of Japan - influenced soundtrack for modern life, blending electronic elements with analogue sounds. "Okinawa" remains varied and engaging throughout its 11 track span. Drawing its influence from shimmering Cafe Del Mar style sunset grooves and mournful melodies, this record is sure to please lovers of deep, meditative sounds from across the musical spectrum.

After making his debut with 'I Don't Know The Darkness' EP and as a remixer of Loopy Loop!'s 'Let Me Luv U', Japanese producer Kinos has returned to DJ 19's PARK LIMITED MUZIK for his second single release entitled 'True Heart'. 

The Original Mix sets the tone with its lush harmonies and riffs, perfectly complemented by pitched down female vocals, which weave a tale of nostalgia. And he prepared Dub Mix that adds an extra layer of groove and energy, ensuring that the dance floor remains enraptured from start to finish. His brand of progressive yet tough tech house has become a favourite at 19BOX RECORDINGS HQ and weaves a crafty sonic tapestry which continues to develop his unique take on techno further.

Sergio Vilas AKA Kube 72, who has seen his releases featured on some of the world's best and beloved labels, makes a bold debut on 19BOX RECORDINGS with a proggy rework of 'Listen To Me'. His transcendent touch ups take the energy levels up a notch, but increases the melancholy and energy with stripped back and lucid elements at the same time, changing the vibe and creating a blanket of energy that wraps around a brilliant driving groove.

PARK LIMITED MUZIK is proud to bring you the fifth installment of 'Parklife' - our in-house compilation series that focuses on bringing unreleased mixes and tracks to the world. 'Parklife Vol.5' is jam packed with secret weapons from Tokyo, Japan and included exclusive remixes by artists such as Kinos and Sota S. AKA Genuine Fakes.

First up to the plate is label boss DJ 19's Loopy Loop!, which is a first solo project where he takes harder sound. 'Let Me Luv U' from 'La Vie En Rave', which was 5th single and released in 2021 gets brought bang up to date with a 2024 remix from Kinos. Here he follows up his 'I Don't Know The Darkness' EP. He makes a bold remixer debut with a groove-laden interpretation that is bound to get bodies moving and pulses racing.

Next up we have Elgone's 'Black Gold' which was originally released in 2023. Sota S. created a rework with Brazilian tribal rhythms and acid elements that is testament to his signature sound of his own  <Torture Garden Japan>. Enjoy Parklife!
