DJ 19's PARK LIMITED MUZIK is proud to bring you the eighth installment of 'Parklife' - our in-house compilation series that focuses on bringing unreleased mixes and tracks to the world. 'Parklife Vol.8' is jam packed with secret weapons and included exclusive remixes by artists such as Sota S. and Midnight Clap.

We pay tribute to Jonathan Lisle, who was one of the pioneers of progressive breaks music and has died age of 51. This special delivery opens with Sota S. AKA Genuine Fakes' classic style remix of Jonathan Lisle's 'Healthy Living' from 'Healthy Living EP', which was first single on the label and released in 2009.

What follows is the long-awaited collaboration between 19BOX RECORDING head honcho DJ 19 and Mexican Jackin House producer Serge Gee's 'Jacarandas', featuring Midnight Clap's deep and emotional remix.

緊急発売となる「Parklife」シリーズの第8弾「Parklife Vol.8」。その訳は、初期PARK LIMITED MUZIKを支えたJONATHAN LISLEの逝去。BEDROCKでプログレッシヴ・ブレイクスのパイオニアとして脚光を浴び、自身のM THEORYの運営を経て、辿り着いた東京のレーベルでのテクノへの傾倒。過去3作品の中から、2009年の「Healthy Living EP」より「Healthy Living」をピックアップし、SOTA S.がクラシック・スタイルを詰め込んだリミックスにてトリビュート。もう1曲は、19BOX RECORDINGSからリリースされ、チャートを賑わせたDJ 19 & SERGE GEEの「Jacarandas」を、MIDNIGHT CLAPがディープでエモーショナルに変換。

Another key artist for 19BOX(JUKEBOX) RECORDING returns to the label as Elgone dives deeper into his Latin roots delivering the sound he does so authentically. It's time for massive Afro House to carve out a sound that feels both organic and forward-thinking. 'bembelem', which is a second single from his forthcoming mini-album "Vision Of Sound", originally came from "bembele" which means "precious", and he added the "m" at the end to make "aime (love) " that is a little play on words to make "aime le précieux (love the precious) ".

On remix duty we welcome Italian Francesco Fruci who was already appeared on Kinos' 'Sky Fallin'' as a remixer. He injects his own melodic language and dialing up the rhythmic energy to lift the track into a more dancefloor-friendly zone.

DJ 19が主宰する19BOX(JUKEBOX) RECORDINGSから、フランスのELGONEによ「Bembelem」が登場。全貌が待たれるミニ・アルバム『Vision Of Sound』からの先行カットで「Child Of The Red Earth」に続く2ndシングルとなる。言葉遊びによる造語のタイトルは“love the precious”を意味し、自身初のアフロ・ハウス作品に。ラテンながらメロディックでテッキー、いやオーガニックで先進的という自身のスタイルの拡張させることに成功。また、リミキサーにはイタリアからFRANCESCO FRUCIを起用。KINOS「Sky Fallin’」に続く2度目の登場となり、リズムを強化したフロア向けのメロディック・テクノに改変。
