We are delighted to welcome back French producer Elgone to DJ 19's 19BOX(JUKEBOX) RECORDINGS for release number 186, comprising 1 original track plus 2 mixes and remix from Pad One. The original has deep and atmospheric elements, while the Sweet Vibes Mix that is featured on our "Give Me Breaks" is a breaks version.
The sole remix comes courtesy of Pad One, who brings a more progressive house edge to the original. His rework creates a good feel vibe from the word go, as the atmospheric and melodic vibe keeps you moving with warm tinkling sounds, a smooth edge and some nicely effected sounding pieces that continue building to culminate into a hypnotic groover.
1999年から続くDJ 19の19BOX(JUKEBOX) RECORDINGSの歴史に於いて、初のブレイクス・コンピレーションとなる『Give Me Breaks』に先行収録されていたのがフランスのELGONEによる「Step Back」。その際は、SWEET VIBES MIXと題するブレイクスのヴァージョンであったが、シングル・リリースに際し、ディープでアトモスフェリックな質感のオリジナル、またコード感の強いDEEP VIBES MIXという、本人による3ヴァージョンを収録。加えて、レーベルの常連であるイタリアのPAD ONEがリミックスを提供。オリジナルを維持しつつ、ヒプノティックで陶酔的なプログレッシヴ・ハウスへと変貌させ、異なる魅力を追加してくれた。
