Welcome back to our 'Dueling Weapons' series, which will focus on bringing unreleased remixes to the world. The 26th installment of 'Dueling Weapons' is jam packed with secret weapons, and includes exclu-sive remixes by artists such as Dan Sonic and Jody Vukas. 

First up to the plate is DJ 19's 'Rainforest', a cover version of the 1984 dancefloor classic by British elec-tronic music icon Paul Hardcastle. DJ 19's revised version is taken from his long awaited debut album "Phuturefunk" in 2009 and was released as a single on 19BOX LIMITED in 2010. Dan Sonic steps up and absolutely owns his version, delivering a super-dope remix that feels both spacious and laser-focused, driven by melodic language and rhythmic energy.

Next up we have the collaboration between 19BOX(JUKEBOX) RECORDINGS' label boss DJ 19 and ARTIFICIAL ACOUSTICAL AMBIENCE RECORDS' label boss Dan Sonic's 'Feeling This'. Their track 'Feeling This' originally made the rounds back in 2019, showcasing their love for progressive with Phuturefunk elements. On remix duty we welcome American producer Jody Vukas, known for his own DISTANT DRUM RECORDINGS and releases on prominent labels such as NORMOUS TUNES, ADDICTIVE SOUNDS, THE ACID MIND RECORDINGS, and more. He crafts a melodic and robust progressive sound that keeps you engaged, with delicate touches added for extra appeal.

秘密兵器として機能するフロア向け未発表リミックス・シリーズである「Dueling Weapons」の第26弾は、DJ 19関連の曲をピックアップ。まず、2009年のアルバム『Phuturefunk』に初収録され、2010年には19BOX LIMITEDでもシングル・カットされた「Rainforest」。DJ 19の名前の由来でもあるPAUL HARDCASTLEによるインストながらヒットしたが84年の曲のカヴァーを、DAN SONICがメロディックな要素にフロア機能を加味してリモデル。続いて、そのDAN SONICがDJ 19とコラボし、2019年にリリースした「Feeling This」を、アメリカから初参戦のJODY VUKASがリワーク。パワフルながら下世話にならない加減のプロッグに。

We are proud and honored to present you with an expansive mini-album by the French producer Elgone, titled "Vision Of Sound". As you know, he delivered chillout concept album "A Moment Of Reflections" and "Okinawa" on 19BOX(JUKEBOX) RECORDINGS, and techno style album "Data Flux" under Synthetic Phoenix guise on PARK LIMITED MUZIK. He stays true to his roots and delivers a masterpiece with 7 original tracks that are sure to spark the attention of any Deep House, Tech House, Progressive House, Melodic Techno, Afro House, Drum & Bass and Chillout connoisseur. 

"Vision Of Sound" is a reflection of where Elgone is at today. He has worked on the album for over a year to come up with a sensual, emotional and superbly written array of songs. The maturity and evocative mood forms the vibe in this well-conceived, well executed and brilliantly well produced Album. For the fans still wondering, nearly half of the tracks have already been released, but you can rest easy. Although 'Child Of The Red Earth', 'Bembelem', and 'I Feel For You' were released as a single, he prepared different versions for "Vision Of Sound". The album begins with 'On The Ocean', a melancholic piano track that evokes the enchanting allure of treasures found at sea's deepest points. And tracks like 'I Don't Wanna Lose My Mind' and 'End It All' bring to mind Everything But The Girl's Drum & Bass era. You can expect on this album all the signature elements that Elgone is well known and loved for.

フランスのELGONEによる約2年振りとなるアルバム『Vision Of Sound』が到着。これまで、19BOX(JUKEBOX) RECORDINGSから『A Moment Of Reflections』を2021年、前作『Okinawa』を2024年、またPARK LIMITED MUZIKからSYNTHETIC PHOENIX名義で『Data Flux』を2023年にリリースしているが、今回は7曲入りのミニ・アルバムに。「Child Of The Red Earth」「Bembelem」「I Feel For You」が先行シングルとしてカットされているが、アルバムには異なるヴァージョンを用意しているのでご安心を。メランコリックなピアノを従えた「On The Ocean」で幕を開け、ドラムンベース期のエヴリシング・バット・ザ・ガールを彷彿させる「I Don't Wanna Lose My Mind」に「End It All」、最後はエモーショナルなピアノが響く「Circle Of Life」にて閉幕。徹頭徹尾、洗練されたサウンドを鳴らしながら、ジャンルを横断し、フロアもリスニングにも対応するセンスに脱帽だ。
