DJ 19's PARK LIMITED MUZIK is proud to bring you the eighth installment of 'Parklife' - our in-house compilation series that focuses on bringing unreleased mixes and tracks to the world. 'Parklife Vol.8' is jam packed with secret weapons and included exclusive remixes by artists such as Sota S. and Midnight Clap.

We pay tribute to Jonathan Lisle, who was one of the pioneers of progressive breaks music and has died age of 51. This special delivery opens with Sota S. AKA Genuine Fakes' classic style remix of Jonathan Lisle's 'Healthy Living' from 'Healthy Living EP', which was first single on the label and released in 2009.

What follows is the long-awaited collaboration between 19BOX RECORDING head honcho DJ 19 and Mexican Jackin House producer Serge Gee's 'Jacarandas', featuring Midnight Clap's deep and emotional remix.

緊急発売となる「Parklife」シリーズの第8弾「Parklife Vol.8」。その訳は、初期PARK LIMITED MUZIKを支えたJONATHAN LISLEの逝去。BEDROCKでプログレッシヴ・ブレイクスのパイオニアとして脚光を浴び、自身のM THEORYの運営を経て、辿り着いた東京のレーベルでのテクノへの傾倒。過去3作品の中から、2009年の「Healthy Living EP」より「Healthy Living」をピックアップし、SOTA S.がクラシック・スタイルを詰め込んだリミックスにてトリビュート。もう1曲は、19BOX RECORDINGSからリリースされ、チャートを賑わせたDJ 19 & SERGE GEEの「Jacarandas」を、MIDNIGHT CLAPがディープでエモーショナルに変換。

Another key artist for 19BOX(JUKEBOX) RECORDING returns to the label as Elgone dives deeper into his Latin roots delivering the sound he does so authentically. It's time for massive Afro House to carve out a sound that feels both organic and forward-thinking. 'Bembelem', which is a second single from his forthcoming mini-album "Vision Of Sound", originally came from "Bembele" which means "Precious", and he added the "m" at the end to make "Aime (Love) " that is a little play on words to make "aime le précieux (love the precious) "

On remix duty we welcome Italian Francesco Fruci who was already appeared on Kinos' 'Sky Fallin'' as a remixer. He injects his own melodic language and dialing up the rhythmic energy to lift the track into a more dancefloor-friendly zone.

You're about to meet a brand-new name with a very familiar touch. Serge Gee known for dropping big Jackin House bangers on 19BOX(JUKEBOX) RECORDING has teamed up with Mig Camacho, who is a Mexico City–based DJ, music producer, and audio engineer with over 15 years of experience in the electronic music scene. Serge Gee is back with his second outing on the label this year after releasing 'Jacarandas' with DJ 19. 'Another Way' once again feels like a very natural team up for the Mexican producers, and showcases their impressive musical chemistry, blending Serge's powerful grooves with Mig's elegant and atmospheric approach to the dancefloor.

The remix comes courtesy of Morris Tellez from Colombia. He is back to the label after 8 years, and delivers a gem of a remix with his deep rework. He manages to allow the progressive house feel to shine thru over the many layers and textures to create a beautiful soundscape to round off this classy underground crowd pleaser.

DJ 19とのコラボ曲「Jacarandas」に続き、SERGE GEEが新たなパートナーとなるMIG CAMACHOとの「Another Way」を従え、すぐさま19BOX RECORDINGSに帰還。同郷のメキシコ出身であるMIGは、DJだけでなく、プロデューサー／エンジニアとしても活動し、SERGEのジャッキン・ハウスのグルーヴ感にエレガントさとアトモスフェリックな要素を追加。リミキサーにはコロンビア共和国のMORRIS TELLEZを起用。8年前のVALID EVIDENCE「The Crying game」、DJ 19「Instigator」のリミックス以来の登場となり、持ち前のメロディック・テクノ的な要素は残しつつ、プロッグ要素を進化させたサウンドを披露。

19BOX(JUKEBOX) RECORDING steps into new territory with Elgone, a spellbinding single entitled 'Child Of The Red Earth'. The diffetence from usual releases is not including Original Mix. We keep it for his forthcoming mini-album "Vision Of Sound". Instead, he delivers proggy melodic techno mix as Red Earth Mix. Suspended between austere minimalism and intricate design, the piece unfolds with lush synths that plunge into subterranean depths.

Perth based Charesian injects 'Child Of The Red Earth' with kaleidoscopic color, layering gorgeous melodic foundation and cinematic synth work. Swells of effected vocals and spiraling electronics lend his remix an ethereal lift, illuminating the originals techno tones with new spectral light.

After a decade-long break, DJ 19 is back on PARK LIMITED MUZIK imprint with a brand new release that delves even techy into the hypnotic soundscapes that have defined his sonic identity as Phuturefunk. 'Der Unterschied' showcases his mastery of tension and release, blending Phuturefunk sound with an 80's acid house element straight out of Chicago and late 90's acid techno element straight out of London. 

DJ 19 has been focusing on Loopy Loop! alias on the label since 2016, except that he teamed up with Sota S. AKA Genune Fakes with '3 9 50 Much' in 2020. Once again, the sole focus being straight up tech house as Phuturefunk sound, designed for the dance floor, as he drops the 2 mixes of 'Der Unterschied'.

PARK LIMITED MUZIK総帥であるDJ 19が復帰。LOOPY LOOP!名義にフォーカスし、2020年のSOTA S.とのコラボ曲「3 9 50 Much」を除けば、PARK LIMITED MUZIKに於いては2016年の「See The World」がDJ 19名義での最後のリリースに。つまり、実に10年振りのソロ作品となるのが「Der Unterschied」である。80年代後半のシカゴのアシッド・ハウスと、90年代後半のロンドンのアシッド・テクノを独自のPHUTUREFUNKサウンドを東京にて融合。現代のテック・ハウスとして蘇生することに成功。また、アシッドとドイツ語のタイトルの元となる英語の‘The Difference’のヴォイスを除いたインストも用意。
