This time we don't feature other collaboration works such as Balthazar & JackRock, Sota S., H.Garden and many others, and also multiple creative aliases with Julio Largente and Paul Losev AKA Paul2Paul etc.
"Phuturefunk Sessions - Journey To Transcendence" features a selection of exclusive, previously unreleased materials created specifically for this milestone. The first track is a brand-new interpretation of DJ 19's iconic 'Beakin' Of The Dawn' entitled 'Overture' with Harry Moon. The second is unreleased versions of 'People Are' with Steve May. Last, but certainly not least is an unreleased version of 'Acid Piano' with Moussa Clarke. A defining statement release—past, present, and future converge in one transcendent journey. Just pure club music—designed to move bodies and transcend the moment.
19BOX(JUKEBOX) RECORDINGSに於けるアルバム／コンピレーションのカタログも遂に100番に到達。DJ 19が1999年に設立したレーベルということもあり、記念すべきタイトルはDJ 19の『Phuturefunk Sessions - Journey To Transcendence』に決定。内容は、これまでにDJ 19がコラボしてきた楽曲、例えばMOUSSA CLARKE、 THOMAS PENTON、 AUSTIN LEEDS、 YURIY FROM RUSSIA、BRYAN COX、C-JAY、DAN SONIC、ELGONE、SERGE GEEらとの異種格闘技の歴史を集約。 楽曲数が多いことからBALTHAZAR & JACKROCK、 SOTA S., H.GARDENや別名義でのコラボレーション作品は見送り、3曲の未発表曲を収録。まず、DJ 19の代表曲の1つである「Breakin’ Of The Dawn」をベースに、19BOX RECORDINGSの長年のパートナーであるHARRY MOONのヴォイスをフィーチュアした「Overture」に加え、STEVE MAYとの「People Are」にヴォイスを加えた幻のヴァージョン、またオリジナルはDJ 19のアルバム『Phuturefunk』に収録されていたMOUSSA CLARKEとの「Acid Piano」をエクステンデッド・ミックスにて初収録。
