19BOX(JUKEBOX) RECORDINGS drop Volume 16 of the 'Dueling Weapons' series that brings unreleased remixes to rock the dance floor. On the 16th installment, we welcome cool remixers such as Pad One and Synthetic Phoenix.
The EP kicks off with a remix for Pantelis Aspridis' 'Wrong Direction', which was originally released as a part of 'Don't Stop'. 19BOX RECORDINGS regular Pad One pushes things slightly more hypnotic and progressive for his rework.
Next up we welcome Elgone's cyberpunkish techno project Synthetic Phoenix. He manages Genuine Fakes AKA Sota S.' 'Philly Funk', which was originally released as a part of "Miami Sampler 2023". His debut remix reconstitutes the original into a techno territory with full of energy. 'Dueling Weapons Vol.16' takes you straight to the heart of the dancefloor.
秘密兵器として機能するフロア向け未発表リミックス・シリーズの「Dueling Weapons Vol.16」は、PANTELIS ASPRIDISの「Don’t Stop」から「Wrong Direction」と、GENUINE FAKESが『Miami Sampler 2023』に提供した「Philly Funk」をピックアップ。まず前者は、イタリアのPAD ONEがヒプノティックなプログレッシヴ・ハウスへと調理。後者は、フランスのELGONEがサイバーパンクにインスパイアされたテクノ・サウンドをクリエイトする名義＝SYNTHETIC PHOENIXにて初リミックス。ニュー・ディスコなオリジナルとは乖離したエナジェティックなリワークを施し、リミックスの醍醐味を再認識。
