19BOX(JUKEBOX) RECORDINGS drop Volume 17 of the 'Dueling Weapons' series that brings unreleased remixes to rock the dance floor. On the 17th installment, we welcome cool remixers such as Dan Sonic and Pad One.
The EP kicks off with a remix for Elgone's cyberpunkish techno alias Synthetic Phoenix 'Tribal Pulse', which was originally released on PARK LIMITED MUZIK as a part of 'Cyber Pulse' EP. No stranger to the 19BOX RECORDINGS label, Dan Sonic takes the instantly recognisable hook and ups the ante considerably, with playful electronic percussion and driving loops all contributing to the colourful explosion of sound.
Up next, Pad One delivers the sequel of the remix for Pantelis Aspridis' 'Wrong Direction' after 'Dueling Weapons Vol.16', and utilizes a hypnotizing groove as the basis of the mix underpinned by a deep bass. Grab a copy while it's hot!
秘密兵器として機能するフロア向け未発表リミックス・シリーズの「Dueling Weapons Vol.17」は、姉妹レーベルであるPARK LIMITED MUZIKに於いてリリースされたELGONEによるサイバーパンクにインスパイアされたテクノ・サウンドをクリエイトする名義＝SYNTHETIC PHOENIXのデビュー・シングル「Cyber Pulse」から「Tribal Pulse」と、PANTELIS ASPRIDISの「Don’t Stop」から「Wrong Direction」をピックアップ。前者は、スイスのDAN SONICがテック感満載のプロッグ風味にコンヴァートし、後者は「Dueling Weapons Vol.16」に続いてイタリアのPAD ONEがさらにディープなリワークを提供。
